With two berths forward, sink, stove, head and two kid's berths aft, the Kathy 22 is an ideal day boat or weekender for the whole family.  Very roomy, yet trailerable to remote, secluded waters.  Safe, dependable diesel powered, with plenty of fuel for extended cruising.  A rare example, as only several custom models have been made.

Traditional oil type navigation lights highlight the top of the pilothouse, which boasts 360 degree visibility and a feeling of spaciousness.  The after cabin has a large entry hatch with large companionway for easy access.  A similar hatch in the fore deck provides excellent air circulation throughout the boat.  The solid brass (fake) stack adds visual appeal as well as a support for the air whistle.

At right the after cabin looking aft.  The companionway is directly over the center cushion.  One berth is to either side, with the stove to Port and the sink to Starboard.  There is ample storage beneath both as well as under the berths. 

This Kathy 22 has had excellent care and has been maintained by her owners in pristine condition.  Her location at present is in Mississippi, after spending several years in Mystic, CT.  She is completely equipped including a trailer and is ready to go anywhere to continue her long useful life.
